With two weeks to go before thanksgiving break here is a little stress relief. What could be more relaxing that a bagpiper in a Darth Vader mask riding a unicycle playing star wars music with bonus fire? Enjoy.
We climbed Whiteface this past weekend. The lake in the slide show is Lake Placid. This makes 6 peaks for the summer and 8 overall. Learn more about the High Peaks.
We climbed two more peaks this past weekend (post from last week just in case you missed it). Lower and Upper Wolfjaw was about an 11 mile climb and about 3000 feet of vertical. In the slides you will see clear evidence that giants roamed the earth before humans based on the really big steps we encountered. Cheers, Tom

Last summer we (my youngest two and I) started climbing the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. This weekend we completed three more (5 of 46 completed). We did the 11.6 mile trail that took us to Wright, Algonquin, and Iroquois. We really did more than that since we missed the trail over to Iroquois and went down the back side of Algonquin a bit before turning around. Call it over 12 miles and more than 3200ft of vertical. We didn’t get too many clear views since we were in the clouds when on the summits, but we got some. Enjoy the few pictures and look for another High Peaks post this summer. Cheers, Tom
