Congratulations to Jessica Tornai ’21 on her acceptance to Partners in the Park!

Hello Honorites!

On behalf of the Honors Program, we would like to extend a congratulations to Jessica Tornai ’21 on her acceptance to Partners in the Park!

Partners in the Parks is an outdoor experiential learning program in cooperation with the National Collegiate Honors Council. Nine projects at national parks across the country offer unique opportunities for collegiate honors students and faculty to visit areas of the American landscape noted for their beauty, significance, and lasting value.

Seminars led by university faculty and park personnel include historic, scientific, cultural, and other important features unique to a given park. Projects also take advantage of exciting recreational opportunities to broaden participants’ understanding of the overall value of national parks to our country and its citizens.

Jessica is a sophomore, Mathematics Major with a minor in Spanish, and she will be going to Bryce Canyon National Park! Jessica states, “I am looking forward to meeting other people that share my love of the outdoors and broadening my experience in our national parks.”

Congrats to Jessica!
