Meet the New Provost & Senior VP for Academic Affairs TOMORROW at Ithaca College!

Dr. La Jerne Terry Cornish has accepted the position of Provost and Senior  Vice President for Academic Affairs at Ithaca College and will be on campus Tuesday, May 1, to spend time with our community. 

Dr. Cornish comes to us from Goucher College, a private liberal arts institution just outside of Baltimore where she is Associate Provost for Undergraduate Studies and Associate Professor of Education. She will begin her tenure as provost at Ithaca College on July 1.

Resident Assistants for the Summer College for High School Students program work at Ithaca College from June 17 – July 21, 2018.

On-campus housing and a meal plan are provided with these positions during the period of employment.

Resident assistants will live in the residence halls with high school students and provide daily supervision of the residence hall environment. Resident assistants will be involved with overall program preparations; student check-in and orientation; social and educational programs and activities; enforcing policies and procedures; and check-out of students at the conclusion of the program. Resident assistants will be required to work most weekends and evenings during the Summer College for High School Students program.

Resident Assistants must be continuing Ithaca College undergraduate students, returning to IC in fall 2018.

Summer College for High School Students is an ExtendedStudies (OES) program.

Rob Humphrey ’91 is coming back to campus next Thursday, 4/26 in the Park Auditorium to present “The After Party: How to use LinkedIn In Your College to Career Transition!”  With LinkedIn since 2010, Rob is currently a Senior Account Executive as a member of LinkedIn’s Education Vertical Team and spends his time traveling the country working with colleges and students on how to get the most out of LinkedIn as they begin their college to career journey.
