Hello Honorites!
Every year, the United Nations Association of the USA, a program of The United Nations
Foundation, works with the U.S. Department of State to select one U.S. Youth Observer to the U.N. For a one-year term, an American between the ages of 18-25 is selected to serve as a voice for young Americans at international organization meetings.

We are looking for a poised, internationally-engaged individual to fill the role of diplomat of the 2018-2019 year. Qualified applicants are:
- Passionate and entrepreneurial about civic engagement, youth issues, and the United Nations.
- Digitally engaged and talented writers, capable of digesting complicated information and quickly turning around blog posts to inform other youth.
- Intellectually curious and able to have meaningful conversations with high-level individuals.
- Experienced public speakers.
Applications must be submitted by Sunday, April 29. Applicants can find complete details on how to apply here.
