IC Honors: Pizza, Fellowships, and Grants, Oh My!

Tomorrow, Thursday March 23rd at 12:15pm in Friends 201 the Honors Program invites you to an informational session about External Grants and Fellowships.

Professor Hugh Egan and student Yena Seo will share their expertise about how to apply for grants and fellowships– the Fulbright, Rhodes, Truman, Marshall and others.

It’s never too early to start learning about how to get resources to support your biggest dreams and projects.  All are welcome, from first years to seniors.

There will be pizza.

IC Honors: Upcoming Events

Honors has a full slate of events taking place over the next two weeks. Be sure not to miss them!

  • Tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in the Clark Lounge, the Course Expo will take place. Come learn about all of the Honors classes being offered next semester!
  • Thursday, March 23rd at 12:15 in Friends 201, there will be a presentation about applying for external grants, including Fulbrights.
  • Tickets for the NYC trip 4/1 will go on sale Monday, March 27th at 12:00. The cost of the trip is $20 and covers admission to the MoMA and Kinky Boots.
  • Also March 27 is our annual Spring Swing, which will take place in Emerson Suites from 7:30 to 10:00. Come by for dancing and snacks!

IC Honors: Weekly Learning Opportunities

Harold Miller ’03 will give a talk about his work with New York City’s mayor, Bill de Blasio, on March 6 from 11:30 to 12:30 in the Ithaca Falls Room of Campus Center.

String Chamber Music will perform March 6 at 7:00 in Hockett Family Recital Hall.

Lori Friedman will give a bass clarinet recital on March 7 at 7:00 in Hockett Family Recital Hall, performing work by IC student composers.

The Choir and Women’s Chorale will perform in Ford Hall at 8:15 on March 7.

Concert Band will perform in Ford Hall at 8:15 on March 9.
